New Delhi, Gwalior and Agra Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Delhi - The capital city of India is a extensive modern metropolis with a dramatic backdrop of prehistoric architecture. Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the Day is free to relax. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 2
Today fly to Khajuraho- world well-known for its Kamasutra temples. Temples of Khajuraho are India's unique gift to the world is UNESCO world heritage site. These Temples were built between ninth and tenth century and highlights the existential culture in faith that worships yoga and bhoga. Yoga is the self with the Almighty, while bhoga is the course to God through physical gratification. The temples at Khajuraho, devoted to physical love and pleasure, are a witness to this way of life. Day 3
Drive to Orchha a silent village, which means "hidden place" it is 170 Kms west of Khajuraho. Situated on the banks of River Betwa, Orchha is famous for its scenic beauty. The place is home of Bundela style of structural design and no doubt its historical structures are an eyewitness to its magnificent past and retains its medieval attraction. Day 4
Drive to Gwalior (110 Kms from Orchha) famous as support of Indian dynasties. On the way to Gwalior visit seven-storied famous Datia Palace built in 1674 AD. The Palace is made of brick and stone and is one of the finest examples of Bundela architecture. Arrive Gwalior and enjoy sightseeing of Gwalior city visiting Gwalior Fort one of the most invincible forts in India. Visit double - storied Man Mandir Palace famous for stone carving and latticework, Teli ka Mandir - a 9th Century structure towering 100 feet high is an amazing blend of Muslim and Hindu architecture. Day 5
Today drive to Agra – which is 120km from Gwalior, long time ago the capital of Mughal Empire and the city one of the Seven Wonders of the World name Taj Mahal. A white marble tomb built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, who died during Childbirth, the great Love attachment enthused Shah Jahan to construct Taj Mahal - the greatest memory ever built for Love, it took not less than 22 years and 20000 skilled laborers. The fact about Taj Mahal is that it changes its color depending upon the strength of light falling on it, especially during the full moon nights. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 6
Start the day with visit to Grand Red sand stone fort of Agra constructed by Great Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. Pearl Mosque, Halls of Public and Private audience, Jahangir's Palace, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Musamman Burj. Later in the day visit Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb - commissioned by Noor Jahan, wife of Emperor Jahangir's, in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Lavishly decorated honored the tomb with title of "Jewel Box" and Sikandra a vast, beautifully carved, red - ochre sandstone tomb set in the middle of a lush garden suitably named "Gateway of Magnificence" is final sleeping place of Greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar. Day 7
Today drive to Pink city Jaipur - capital of the historical and royal state of Rajasthan. The city is remarked for its fabulous architecture, culture, Cuisine [Kashmir Valley Tour] and lively spirit of the people. Jaipur is 235 Kms from Agra. Enroute to Jaipur visit Fatehpur Sikri - it was the capital of India between 1571-81 AD as a mark of respect to the famous Sufi saint Sheikh Salim Chishti, who had forecast the birth of his son. But very early Mughal Emperor Akbar shifted his capital to Agra because of scarcity of water at Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 8
Morning visit eye-catching hill fort of Amber constructed in 1592 AD, an Elephant back ride like a royal king will reach you to the exciting entrance of the Amber fort. Enjoy visit to breathtaking palaces, complexes, halls, pavilions and Gardens at Amber fort. Later enjoy half day city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace complex -houses an imposing collection of Rajasthani art Jewellery, enamelware, carpets, wonderful range of tiny paintings, weapon store and thousands of ancient manuscript preserved from the royal family's secret collections, The Observatory - built between 1727-34 AD is an noteworthy collection of traditional excessive instruments and the spectacular Hawamahal or the Palace of winds built in 1799 AD allowed the royal ladies to see the street demonstration with its 953 small niche windows. Day 9
Drive to Delhi 256 Kms east of Jaipur, Arrive Delhi and visit Qutub Minaret- built in 1193 AD is the highest stone tower in India. Later visit to Old Delhi - enjoy drive pass through the superb Red Fort build by The Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan in1638-48 AD, Jama Masjid Mosque, the biggest mosque in India, build by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644- 56 AD. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 10
Morning start the day with visit to India Gate - The war monument built to remember the Indian and British soldiers who died in World War I and the Afghan wars. The names of sufferer for a cause are inscribed on the walls of the memorial, Rastrapati Bhawan - the official house of President of India with 340 rooms it is the largest residence of any Head of the state of the world. Later in the day visit Rajghat- memory place of Mahatma Gandhi, Indian Ambassador for peace to the world and Lotus Temple - an architectural wonder of the Bahai faith. The lotus shaped Temple is set among pools and the Gardens, which gives a feeling of a floating half open lotus flower surrounded by its spread out leaves. Afternoon drive to Chandigarh, 248 Kms north of Delhi. Overnight stay at Chandigarh.
Day 11
Enjoy sightseeing tour of Chandigarh - pleased as first considered city of India and is the face of modern. The city was planned by French Architect, Le Corbusier. Visit The Capitol Complex, seat of the Government of the states of Punjab and Haryana. It consists of three main edifices, namely the Secretariat, the Legislative Assembly and the High court. All three building stand tall, on behalf of the pillars of democracy of free India. Later enjoy visit to Rock Garden formed from industrial and urban wastes, with its fascinating statues, gardens and waterfalls Rock garden is a worth place to be visited. Day 12
Transfer to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and visit the Grand Akshardham Temple complex, a great example of fusion of Ancient Temple architecture and modern Indian architecture.
